It’s time to put on makeup. It’s time to dress up right.

Please join us for an afternoon & evening of Social Gathering to celebrate the Softest Launch of The Glendale Room.

Starting at 4 PM there’ll be live music outdoors on a custom built stage on the pedestrian-only paseo right across from our front door. MoForro will play what’s described as:

triangle-driven, hip-swiveling dance music in the traditional, rootsy, “pé de serra” style of forró. A music that was born out of the countryside of the dry Northeast, forró is now one of the most popular rhythms to come from Brazil.

I mean CMON - how fun is THAT?!

We’ll throw open our doors starting around 4, and you’re invited to check out the space, grab a seltzer from a dizzying array of flavor options, and hang out inside our outdoors, depending on your preference. Friends from comedy, from the Westside, from the neighborhood - hope you’ll swing by and hang out. We’ll spin music and catch up on old times. And hopefully you’ll find a book (or 30) you like in our collection. And if it’s a real fit, maybe you and your new book friend can go home together. Or not! It’s been a real monster of a time - take it slow and enjoy the softness of this launch.
